The turning point in my work came at the end of a major transformation project. A senior leader turned to me and said: “You showed us it could be done differently.”
We had exceeded every target, but what mattered most was how we got there: calm instead of frantic, compassion alongside performance, and energy that was sustained rather than depleted. That moment confirmed what I’d seen throughout my career: change doesn’t have to drain people — it can build resilience and capacity to thrive.
In my 20+ years in HR leadership and transformation, I’ve seen first-hand how constant change and pressure drain energy and erode capacity. That led me to ask a different question: how do we sustain the energy needed to thrive, not just survive?
Working alongside senior leaders on global transformations — from M&A integrations to large-scale restructures and culture shifts — I developed a different way of leading change. One that combines strategic rigour with a deep understanding of the human experience, drawing on my expertise in organisational development, positive psychology, and resilience.
That’s why I founded Reframe to Sustain and created the Energy-Smart Change Leadership™ approach. My work equips leaders to build the human infrastructure of change — trust, resilience, and capacity — so transformations succeed without exhausting their people.
This isn’t about a formula. It’s about showing up with clarity and compassion, helping leaders connect the dots, see the bigger picture, and know they are not alone in navigating complexity.
